Postnatal depression - a mother's point of view

About the first two weeks after your baby's birth, you can fight with postnatal depression.
You will not feel this depression based on a desire for social interaction or of meeting with your friends/colleagues, nor will you feel ineffectual for your baby. It's just that you will feel naked without being pregnant anymore. You will not have the pregnant woman' belly anymore, and you will not feel your baby's life anymore through you.

Although your baby will be near you, you will be depressed, because your baby has been separated from you.

All kinds of feelings will come upon you, and you will be crying just because you will not be able to escape from these feelings.

The birth happened so fast (especially in the case of a cesarean), and you have the impression that you did not give birth yet and that you still wait to give birth. Everything will happen so quickly, and you will not realize anything besides the pain.

You have to feel very good with your feelings, before conception, during the pregnancy and after the birth of your child. If you did not so, you must understand that now, after the birth, you can live such feelings. Try as much as possible to keep away from you this postnatal depression.

If you inform yourself in advance about what postnatal depression means, then you can keep your depression safe!

During this time, everyone will focus on the baby, and no one will tell you that you have been great in pregnancy, birth and that you will manage well from now on as a good mother.

Sometimes you will feel like you will lose your temper. You will be tired, and your baby will cry and you will not know why, because you have changed it, nurtured it, walked it and slept it. You have to calm down, get out of the room and gather. You do not have to maintain the tension a very long time, because the baby will be scared, and it will also be charged negatively.

You must remember that you are a good mother and that you are the only one who knows what your baby needs, precisely because you are his mother.

It must be emphasized that every mother is the best mother for her baby!
