Tips and tricks for mothers
• After natural birth/surgery, you can wear only large clothes, because your belly will hurt you and retreat over time.
• It would be helpful to buy diaper changing sheets because you can also use them against hemorrhage (they are in baby stores, in the care district).
• Also, if you are breastfeeding, antibacterial discs for breasts are very useful.
• It is desirable that after giving birth to a child, get pregnant again after at least about 15 months. You must give time to your body to recover himself and to form all the reserves that it needs a new pregnancy (you have to talk to your doctor about a new pregnancy!).
• In the hospital, the gynecologist will visit you, will consult you and tell you when you will be discharged, and he will prescribe your treatment.
• After birth, lochia has to be removed, so the uterus will "clean" himself, and in this regard, the gynecologist will prescribe to you some ampoules.
• Also, the date of the next consultation is fixed 6 weeks after birth.
• Bleeding is normal for up to 6 weeks after birth, and as the days pass, the color of the blood must go from red to pink or brown.
• How long breastfeeding lasts longer (without using milk formula), the menstrual cycle reoccurs later, but this does not represent a 100% sure contraceptive method (talk with your doctor about contraceptive methods!).
• To stimulate lactation, you should drink plenty of liquids (water, compote, anise tea).
• Instead of consuming raw foods who makes colics to your baby, better eat cooked or baked foods.
• To consume raw food just of lust!
• For transit are very good the dried plums soaked in water.
• After the birth of your baby, your doctor may prescribe to you:
- an antibiotic (to avoid infections),
- ampoules (to remove the lochia),
- suppositories for both pain and transit,
- anticoagulation pills,
- medicinal charcoal.
• For wounds caused by breastfeeding, use a cream from the pharmacy.
